Arn Herschel Tellem was born on the 21st February 1954, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, and he is probably best recognized for being not only a professional sports agent who has represented basketball and baseball players, but also a vice chairman of Palace Sports & Entertainment. He is also known for being a sports journalist, who has written columns for such magazines as “Sports Illustrated”, “The Huffington Post”, etc. His career has been active since the late 1970s.

Subsequently, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he specialized as an attorney in sports law and commercial litigation at the company Manatt, Phelps, and Phillips. As early as 1982, Arn began his career in the sports industry by representing several baseball players, including Mark Langston, and working as a General Counsel of the National Basketball Association (NBA) team the Los Angeles Clippers, from 1982 to 1988. In the following year he established his own sports agency called Tellem and Associates, which was 10 years later sold to SFX Entertainment, but he was named the Chief Executive of SFX Sports, adding a considerable amount to his net worth.
Furthermore, Arn became the President of Wasserman Media Group Management, acquiring a client base of 50 MLB and 50 NBA clients, such as Jermaine O’Neal, Hideki Matsui, Mike Mussine, Nomar Garciaparra, etc. He is certified as a sports agent by the National Basketball Players Association and the Major League Baseball Players Association.
