Robert John Gaudio was born on the 17th November 1942, in The Bronx, New York, USA. He is a musician, songwriter, record producer well known as Bob Gaudio. He has added considerable revenue to his net worth as the keyboarder/backing vocalist as well as the producer of the band Four Seasons. Bob Gaudio has been active in the music industry since 1957.

How much is the net worth of Bob Gaudio? It has been reported that the outright size of his wealth equals $45 million, accumulated during a career spanning well over 50 years.

Bob Gaudio Net Worth $45 Million

To begin with, Bob Gaudio grew up in the Bronx and played the piano as a teenager in the pop group The Royal Teens. He was educated at Bergenfield High School but dropped out in order to pursue a career in music. As we can easily see now, it was the right decision as Bob Gaudio has managed to accumulate millions working in the music industry. In 1958, the band The Royal Teens rose to fame with the song “Short Shorts” (1958), which had been composed by Gaudio.

After the band separated in 1960, he joined the Four Seasons, which at that time was still completely unknown. In 1963, the band hit the charts with the hit single “Sherry”. Bob Gaudio with Bob Crewe, the producer of the Four Seasons, subsequently wrote a number of hits for the band, including “Big Girls Do not Cry” (1962), “Walk Like a Man” (1963), “Ronnie” (1964), “Save It for Me” (1964), “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” (1967) and others. Many of the compositions were later successfully remixed by other performers, such as The Tremeloes, and the Walker Brothers among other artists.

In 1968, Crewe was fired, whereupon Gaudio took the position of producer and began writing songs alongside Jake Holmes, with whom he created the album “The Genuine Imitation Life Gazette” (1969). The album was financially profitable and added huge sums to the total size of the Four Seasons net worth. Afterwards, Gaudio focused more on producing and composing. In the early 1970s he worked with Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson,  and other well known stars, but it should be noted that he continued working with the Four Seasons, and in 1975 he wrote “Who Loves You” (1975), which became a huge hit and ushered in a comeback of the band.

It is worth saying that Gaudio has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Four Seasons. For his charitable work, he was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honour in 2012. An interesting fact, he graduated from Bergenfield High School after 50 years from dropping out, so in 2009, he could boast of having a high school diploma. The film “Jersey Boys” (2014) (directed by Clint Eastwood) tells the story of the band The Four Seasons and Gaudio is portrayed by Erich Bergen. The film won a Tony Award.

Concerning the personal life, Bob prefers to keep it private, though it is known that he is married to Judy Gaudio, and together they have two daughters: Danielle and Lisa.

#Quote
1I came from a different background from the other guys in the band. For me, home was were you made it, and that changed wherever I was at the time. Frankie (Valli) and the others were always talking about loyalty to your roots and hometown, which I never understood. I'm always looking forward. Once I started my career, I left the past behind and never looked back.
2I wasn't raised with a lot of means, but compared to the others, I was seen as "rich". I wasn't a troublemaker, didn't do drugs, not a big drinker, never got into fights. I kept to myself mostly. I enjoyed reading. When I'm wasn't writing music, I was reading.
3People hear my last name and are immediately surprised by my demeanor. I keep calm, stay patient, and I don't fly off the handle when faced with adversity. I have no time for dramatics. Nothing gets resolved with them. I'm firm but fair in my dealings. Cooler heads always prevail.
4[on staying part of management rather than performance] Being onstage is just not a need for me, and I wouldn't give anything back to the audience either. That's Frankie's [Frankie Valli's] world, not mine. And it never has been. I woke up one morning and realized, "Who says I have to get up onstage and sing the songs I wrote? What bible is that in?"
5[on touring] Me leaving high school was the best thing I ever did. It took me to big places. I'd have missed out so much if I'd stayed in school. I had a great education. In New York/New Jersey, gangs were prevalent for sure. But not that deep-rooted racial hatred. As soon as we crossed the Mason-Dixon line, it was a real cold bucket of water. When I got back north I was immediately 35 years old.
6There's just no way to do a biography if you're not going to tell the truth. Frankie [Frankie Valli] and I had to face that fact. Sure, we winced. We're still wincing. But if you whitewash everything, you know, everyone knows that it wasn't really that way.
