Brady Quinn Net Worth $20 Million
After graduating from Dublin Coffman High School in 2003, Brady Quinn enrolled at the University of Notre Dame carrying the status of ‘great hope’. However, Quinn’s first two years at Notre Dame were fairly average, although he quickly managed to establish himself as the undisputed holder of the quarterback position. The 2005 season was the one that revealed him to the public. Under the leadership of new coach Charlie Weis, he threw 3,919 passing yards, with 32 touchdowns and only seven interceptions, leading his team to set the record of thirty wins and five defeats. At the end of the 2006 season, Quinn appeared as the country’s academic star and his team was widely considered to win the national title, but Ist to Ohio in the Fiesta Bowl. The following year was also generally successful for Quinn, but Notre Dame again lost in the college final, to LSU Despite the loss, Quinn was awarded as MSNBC Most Valuable Player (2006), Cingular All-America Player of the Year (2006), Maxwell Award (2006) and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award (2006). It has probably been the most successful season for the player. The same year he graduated from the university earning two degrees, one in finance and the other in political science.
In the NFL Draft of 2007, Quinn was chosen the twenty-second overall by the Cleveland Browns, where he replaced Derek Anderson. However, after three games, he suffered an injury and could not continue the season. For the 2009 season, following a coaching change, he was appointed holder for the start of the season. However, after several poor performances, he was replaced by Derek Anderson. Even though Quinn managed to prove that he was able to play successfully, he suffered a foot injury, and for the 2010 season, he was traded to the Denver Broncos in an exchange for Peyton Hillis. In 2011, after it was decided to replace Kyle Orton, it was Tim Tebow who was chosen as starting quarterback, not Quinn. Finally, at the end of the season, he left the Broncos without having played a single game in two seasons.
Quinn joined the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2012 season, and on the 28th October, he was named starting quarterback for the rest of the season, but he was injured in the first quarter of the match against the Oakland Raiders. The day after the murder-suicide of Jovan Belcher, Quinn had his best game of the season in a victory full of emotion by 27-21 against the Carolina Panthers, throwing for 201 yards, 2 touchdowns, no turnovers and ended with an impressive rating of 132.1. Nevertheless, this game was an exception because he finished the last four games of the season by throwing four interceptions and no touchdowns.
Subsequent single seasons at the Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets, St Louis Rams and Miami Dolphins did nothing for Brady’s career with little field time, and currently Quinn is a free agent.
Finally, in the personal life of the football quarterback, he married gymnast and Olympic medallist Alicia Sacramone in 2014.
