Young released his third single “Voices” in May 2008, and it was his first Top 40 song, after which his second album “The Man I Want to Be” came out in 2009. The fourth single “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song)” topped the chart, and Young received a nomination for the 2010 Academy of Country Music Top New Solo Vocalist, and in the same year Chris was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for “Gettin’ You Home”. Chris’s third album, “Neon” saw the daylight in July 2011, and it was a big success with singles “You”, “I Can Take It from There” and “Tomorrow”which went platinum in 2012.
