Christina is the only daughter of Robert Lallouette, who worked as an English professor, and his wife Nicole, who was a Greek, Latin and French literature teacher. She has three younger brothers, and spent her childhood in Le Havre with them. Christine went to the Lycée François 1er and Lycée Claude Monet, then following her baccalaureate in 1973, Christina moved to USA on an American Field Scholarship, and enrolled at the Holton-Arms School for girls, located in Bethesda, Maryland.
