Christopher Dooley Jr. is better known by his stage name Hurricane Chris because of his manner of rapping extremely quickly like a real hurricane and twist every word. He was born on February 27, 1989 in Louisiana. In 2014 he has a net worth of $300,000. Today he is called one of the most up-and-coming rappers in USA. In 2007, being 18-yeas-old, Chris decided to drop out of Huntington High School and pursue his future career as a rapper, and started to work only with music. Christopher’s debut single was called “A Bay Bay” and hit the top 10 rap charts in the USA.That was the first serious investment in Hurricane’s net worth.

Hurricane Chris Net Worth $300,000

After a successful beginning Chris released his debut album called “51/50 Ratchet” in 2007. “51/50 Ratched” debuted at number 24 on the well-known Billboard 200 chart in US, and in the first week 26,000 copies of album were sold. Christopher says it was inspired by South coast hip hop – a sub genre of American hip hop music which was locally popular at Shreveport, where Hurricane grew-up. Soon after releasing his debut album, the young rapper released his third single called “Playas Rock” which was produced by Mr. Collipark. The single peaked at number 47 on the Hot R&B chart and number 25 on Hot Rap Tracks. Two years later, in 2009, the rapper released his second album “Unleashed” in the same Southern hip hop style. “Unleashed” peaked at number 46 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and number 20 on US Top Rap Albums. For the young artist this  was a definite success, but this album failed to produce any hits. However, two singles were released from this album – “Headboard” and “Halle Berry (She’s Fine)”. The “Headboard” single featured the voice of famous American rapper and the founder of label “Big Gates Records” Plies and Mario’s voice.

After his second album Hurricane Chris’ career slowed considerably. “Uneashed” didin’t become as popular as Christopher expected, and he started to work on his third studio album entitled “Showtime: Still 51/50” which should be released on the rapper’s own label “51/50 Entertainment” with “FyreHouse Entertainment”. Because of that Chris tried to work with many different producers like the famous American record producer, rapper and songwriter Shawty Redd, also with DJ Spinz, Phunk Dawg, 1500 or Nothin, Mr. Bangladesh, Seven and others. During the interview with hip hop news website AllHipHop.com on May 25, 2010 Chris mentioned he had changed his third album’s title to “Return of the Hurricane”. On January 2 2013 Christopher started to work on his third album’s promotion. A new mixtape called “Caniac” was released and featured the song “Bend It Over”. Also “Caniac has songs “Go Crazy”, “I Don’t F*ck With Yall”, “Pu**y on Me”, “Down South” and “Ball Hard”. The songs were accompanied by music videos.

In 2014 Christopher Hurricane has released one more single, “Ratchet” which was produced by American DJ and record producer Dijon McFarlane, also known as DJ Mustard. “Ratchet” has become the 6th rapper’s single.
