Clint Black Net Worth $12 Million

Clint Black was raised in Houston, Texas, USA by his parents Ann and G.A. Black, as the youngest of four brothers. Influenced by plenty of different music genres, he embraced music at a young age – by the time he was 15, he was already a self-taught harmonica player, had written his first song, started singing and playing acoustic guitar and bass. While a teenager, he joined his elder brothers’ small band, and even dropped out of high school to play with them.

Subsequently, he was working as a construction ironworker, fishing guide and bait cutter, when he started performing and singing as a solo guitarist and singer – he spent almost 10 years circulating in local bars and lounges. Although musically active, his career didn’t officially begin until 1989, when he debuted with the album “Killin’ Time” recorded and produced by RCA Nashville. This provided the basis for his net worth.

The album was a huge success, reaching Triple Platinum and staying at #1 on the country album charts for 28 weeks, and was enlisted as one of the 100 Greatest Albums in Country Music. Five hit singles brought Clint a variety of awards including Country Music Association Horizon Award, Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year, American Music Awards Favorite New Male Country Artist, Academy of Country Music Best New Male Vocalist, Academy of Country Music Best Male Vocalist, Academy of Country Music Album of the Year (“Killin’ Time”), and Academy of Country Music Single of the Year (“A Better Man”). This venture has been the main source of his net worth.

Clint’s second album “Put Yourself in My Shoes” released in 1990 was also successful, going Triple Platinum again, resulting in Clint Black being included in Grand Ole Opry. Since then, he has released 12 studio albums in total and over 100 songs, that have sold more than 20 million copies. Most famous besides those already mentioned are “No Time to Kill”, “One Emotion”, “Like the Rain” and “Cracker Barrel” – constantly increasing his net worth.

Winning countless music awards and earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has put him among the most successful American musicians.

Apart from his music career, Clint Black has also made some efforts in the film industry – he has appeared in a few movies, like “Maverick” (1994), “Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack” (1998) and “Anger Management” (2003) as well as in some TV shows. All these helped add to the overall amount of his net worth.

When it comes to his personal life, since 2001 Clint Black has been married to Lisa Hartman, an actress and also a singer. The couple has a daughter and currently reside in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

In addition to his dynamic music career, through his project Chideo.com and as honorary chair in International Rett Syndrome Foundation’s “Research to Reality: Funding Process”, Clint is raising funds for finding a cure for this neuro-disorder which afflicts up to 10,000 children a year.
