Dannii Minogue Net Worth $22 Million

Minogue’s career began on Australian television, starring among others in the series “Skyways” and “The Sullivans”. From 1982 she was present in the talent show children’s TV show “Young Talent Time”, and in Australia she became a star and was the better known of the two Minogue sisters until 1986, yet she could never quite step out of the shadow of her sister. From 1988 to 1990, she played the role of Emma Jackson in the soap opera “Home and Away”, and then Dannii began her international singing career with the album “Love and Kisses” (1990), which received a gold certification in the UK, made the leap into the top ten and sold over 60,000 units.

In 1993, her album “Get into You” was released, but only the single “This Is It” reached the British Top 10, as the album flopped. In 1994, Minogue was a presenter on the British morning TV show “The Big Breakfast” on Channel 4 In 1995, Minogue worked on her third album. It was never released, as Minogue’s Mushroom Records company cancelled the contract. Despite that, her single “All I Wanna Do” was really popular, but her third album “Girl” (1997) was also a commercial flop.

In 2001, she successfully performed the role of Esmeralda in the musical “Notre Dame de Paris” at the London Dominion Theatre, and in 2003, her album “Neon Nights” was certified gold in the UK. Despite these successes, her recording contract with London Records was also cancelled, but with a new record deal with Around the World Records, Minogue released the single “You Will not Forget About Me” (2004), which made it up to 7th position on the British hit parade. In 2005, the single “Perfection” in collaboration with the Soul Seekerz could only reach 11th position on the British charts, then over the next two years she released the album “The Hits and Beyond”, with some new songs and old hits, and the fifth studio album “Club disco”, which was only available digitally.

In 2008 and 2009, the albums “The Early Years” and “The 1995 Sessions” appeared, both of which contained Minogue’s unpublished material from the 1990s. In 2010, her biography “My Story”, which she wrote during her pregnancy, appeared. Meantime, from 2007 to 2012, she was a jury member in the casting show “Australia’s Got Talent”, and from 2007 to 2010, she was in the jury of the British casting show “The X Factor”, followed from 2013 to ’15 by sitting in the jury of the Australian edition of “X-Factor”.

In 2013, Minogue released a duet with singer Ronan Keating, then after eight years of concert abduction, Minogue confirmed that she would perform at the Mardi Gras event in 2015. At the same time, the comeback single “Press Play” was released, and the single “100 Degrees” was released in 2015, a duet with her sister Kylie.

Finally, in the somewhat chaotic personal life of Dannii Minogue, she was married to the Australian actor Julian McMahon (1994 – 1995), then engaged to the Canadian Formula 1 driver Jacques Villeneuve. From 2008 to 2012, she was dating the former rugby professional Kris Smith, and in 2010 their son was born. However, since 2014 Minogue has been associated with the music producer Adrian Newman.

Quotes

#Quote
1When asked what are the top things on her list when looking for the right guy: Gorgeous, available - gotta be single, none of this messing about, good sense of humor, protective - definitely, confident - I mean because loads of guys won't put up with my kind of job.
2I can't wait for my new album to be released, it's in the style of hot house disco. It will bring other elements to my sound, but keeping in the groove that I found with Neon Nights. I've been inspired by the pumping tunes of DJs working in Ibiza, Miama and Hot House destinations. I have worked with some of the same producers as Neon Nights, and some new ones. My main aim is heavy-fat-bass-lines, I love that thumping feeling. Hopefully I have topped Neon Nights, which was made with lots of love.
