Hunter Parrish Tharp or more popularly known as Hunter Parrish, born on the 13th of May, 1987, is an American actor who became famous for appearing in the television series “Weeds”.

So how much is Parrish’ net worth? As of early 2017, based on authoritative sources it is reported to be $3.5 million, acquired from his years working as an actor both in television, film and stage.

Born in Richmond, Virginia, Parrish is the son of Annie Parrish and Bruce Tharp. The former works with autistic children and the latter worked as an engineer. As a student he attended Plano Senior High School and later graduated at Texas Tech University Independent School.

Parrish’s career as an actor started in 2003 by appearing in various television shows as a guest actor. Some of his early projects included appearing in television shows like “The Guardian” and “Summerland”. He also played small roles in various movies like “Sleepover”, “Steal Me”, “Premonition” and “Down in the Valley”. Though most of his roles where small, his early years as an actor helped his career and also started his net worth.

After a couple of years, Parrish hit it big when he was included in the television series “Weeds” in which he played the role of Silas. The series became a critical success and it brought more projects for him.

Even during the production of “Weeds”, Parrish worked in various movies and television shows to further his career. Some of the television shows he appeared in included “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”, “In Justice”, “Close to Home”, “Campus Ladies” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”. He also did some movies during this time that included “RV” and “Freedom Writers” with Hillary Swanks. His various projects also helped in his wealth.

Aside from acting in television and in movie, Parrish also entered the world of Broadway. In 2008 he played the lead role of Melchior in the musical “Spring Awakening”. He received great reviews in his performance and played the role until the show ended in 2009. In 2011, he came back on stage and this time played the role of Jesus in “Godspell”.

After seven years, “Weeds” ended but Parrish career continued to flourish. He worked on more movies like “Gone”, “Still Alice”, and “A Rising Tide”. From time to time he still appears in television shows like “The Good Wife”, “The Following”, “The Hand of God” and “Good Girls Revolt”. He even released an EP called “Guessing Games”.

Today, Parrish is still active as an actor. Some of his recent projects include “All Nighter” and “Escape School” which are set to be released in 2017

In terms of his personal life, Parrish is married to Kathryn Wahl.
