However, in August 2005, he was traded into the Miami Heat, but spent most time on the bench. However, he quickly bounced back in the playoffs, averaging of 2.9 field goals and 11.8 points per game, and The Heat ended up winning their first title. In August 2007, he signed two-year contract with the Boston Celtics worth $6.67 million, and during his first year averaged 7.4 points per game. He opted for his second year with the Celtics, helping the team with the NBA title, then became a free agent, accepting the offer from the New Orleans Hornets for a four-year contract totaling $25 million. In 2013, he served as an assistant coach in the Canton Charge. In 2014, he was hired for the same position by the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the following season was part of the title-winning team.
