Jenson Alexander Lyons Button was born on January 19, 1980 in Frome, Somerset, England, United Kingdom. When eight years old, Jenson got involved in karting. A year later, Button won the British Super Prix. In 1997, Button won the European Super A Championship and created the record as the youngest driver winning this championship in it’s history.
As an adult professional racer, Jenson Button has greatly increased his net worth, winning first place in the British Formula Ford Championship and Formula Ford Festival. He was a very successful and very promising young racer.
