Jenson Alexander Lyons Button was born on January 19, 1980 in Frome, Somerset, England, United Kingdom. When eight years old, Jenson got involved in karting. A year later, Button won the British Super Prix. In 1997, Button won the European Super A Championship and created the record as the youngest driver winning this championship in it’s history.

As an adult professional racer, Jenson Button has greatly increased his net worth, winning first place in the British Formula Ford Championship and Formula Ford Festival. He was a very successful and very promising young racer. Moreover, in 1999, Jenson added much to his net worth taking second place in the Macau Grand Prix and Korea Super Prix, and third place in the British Formula Three. The same year, he was fifth in the Masters of Formula 3.

Since 2000, Jenson Button has been racing in Formula One. He debuted in the BMW Williams F1 Team and raced with the above-mentioned team for the season and reached eighth position in the final list of the championship. From 2001 to 2002, Jenson raced for Mild Seven Benetton Renault team. From 2003 to 2006, Button was signed to the Lucky Strike BAR Honda team. From 2007 to 2008, Jenson raced with Honda Racing F1 Team. However, he took the worst position throughout his career. In 2009, Button signed a contract with Brawn GP F1 Team and this led him to the top position of the Formula One Championship in 2009. In 2011, Button reached second place, and in 2010 and 2012 he was fifth.

Currently, the driver lives in Monaco. Jenson Button had a long term relationship with a singer and actress Louise Griffiths. They were engaged but the couple split up. At the moment, Jenson is engaged to a model Jessica Michibata.
