It was after eight years that one of his friends, fellow skier Jens Byggmark, challenged him to a bet that he needed to enter the Olympic Games in 2014.
With the challenge of his friend he decided to switch back to ski racing, and started to train to qualify for the Olympics. Unfortunately because of a knee injury in 2013, he wasn’t able to fulfil his dreams of competing in the Olympics, but despite these minor setbacks he continued to dominate the sport nonetheless, making him one of the most famous skiers in the world and tremendously helping his net worth.
