Josh Charles Net Worth $3 Million

Josh Charles was born to Allan Charles, an advertising executive, and Laura Heckscher, a journalist for The Baltimore Sun newspaper. When he was nine years old, he began to perform comedy, and later in his teens, Josh spent some time at Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Center in New York. He was a student of the Baltimore School for the Arts, however, he decided to quit education in high school, in order to further pursue his acting career.

So Josh’s professional acting career began in the late 1980s, when he made his debut appearance in the film “Hairspray” (1988), playing Iggy, which was followed by the role of Knox Overstreet in the Oscar-winning film “Dead Poets Society” (1989), appearing alongside Ethan Hawke and Robin Williams. These roles increased his net worth and his popularity by a large margin, as it allowed him new notable appearances, such as in the films “Murder In Mississippi” (1990), “Crossing The Bridge” (1992), and “Coldblooded” (1995). The 1996 year was one of his greatest, as he featured in several titles, including “The Grave”, “Pie In The Sky”, and “Norma Jean & Marilyn”. In 1998, he was chosen for the role of Dan Rydell in the TV series “Sports Night”, which lasted until 2000, and added a considerable amount to Josh’s net worth.

With the beginning of the 2000s, Josh’s career reached a whole new level, as he secured new roles in popular productions, which only increased further his net worth. His first role was as Peter Silverblatt in the film “Meeting Daddy” (2000), after which he also starred in such TV and film titles as “S.W.A.T.” (2003) playing T.J. McCabe, “Four Brothers” (2005) as Detective Fowler, and in “The Ex” (2006) in the role of Forrest Mead. Furthermore, in 2006, he won a role in the short-lived TV series “Six Degrees”, and in the following year a role in another TV series entitled “In Treatment”, all of which increased his net worth. His next big role came in 2009, when he began portraying Will Gardner in the TV series “The Good Wife” which continued until 2016.

To speak further about his acting career, most recently he has also starred in such TV series as “Inside Amy Schumer” (2014-present), “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp” (2015), and “Masters Of Sex” (2015), among other, all of which will increase his net worth.

Thanks to his accomplishments in the film industry, Josh has won the People’s Choice Awards in the category Favorite Dramatic Television Actor for his work on “The Good Wife”.

If to talk about his personal life, Josh Charles has been married to actress Sophie Flack since 2013; the couple has one child together. Previously, he was in relationships with Sheryl Crow, Asley Judd, and Jenniffer Connelly. In his spare time, Josh enjoys playing guitar and watching baseball and football games.

#Quote
1There's certain things that you can do on cable that you can't do here on network TV, so then you have to think outside the box a little bit.
2I am a lefty, though I bat right-handed... When I was a kid I pitched, played first, outfield and shortstop as well. Now it's mainly softball with some friends.
3What I want out of my career is just to work.
4One of the perks of being an actor is to get to meet athletes that you respect. Especially who played before my time. Brooks Robinson is one of those athletes; they just don't make them any nicer.
5My job is to play many different roles with all sorts of different backgrounds and orientations.
6I'm an everything Baltimore fan.
7One thing I've learned about his business is this whole 'plan thing' - it doesn't work.
8I don't have a grand master plan, but I try to be thoughtful when I can and also silly. It's part of the fun.
9My dad said to me growing up: 'When all is said and done, if you can count all your true friends on one hand, you're a lucky man.'
10I grew up in Baltimore. And yes, I am a big sports fan, especially when it comes to my local teams.
11There's a touch of the gambler in anybody really competitive and somebody that's willing to concede that to succeed, sometimes you need to cut corners and to make bold choices.
12Any time you get to dig deeper into your character, you welcome it, especially on a TV show.
13I never considered a career in broadcasting, not even as a kid.
14I'm kind of new to Twitter. I'm about one year in, so I'm a little late to the party.
15It's fun to play a character who lives on the edge, who is an ethical and moral mess, and is paying the price for some of his actions.
