Levi King Stoltzfus, born on the 30th June 1979, is an American television personality better known as Lebanon Levi, who became famous through his reality television show “Amish Mafia” first aired on the Discovery Channel in 2012.

Levi came from a big family of three brothers and three sisters. At an early age, his father died in a farming accident while working in the silo, after which his mother moved the family to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. His mom subsequently re-married to an Amish Deacon, and so converting the whole family to Amish beliefs.

Growing up, Levi saw the need of his community for authority, and decided to create a group of Amish men to protect their close knit group, so Amish Mafia was born, protecting the Amish community in Lancaster, with Levi acting as their judge, jury and enforcer of the law. The group also serves as protector of the community against outside influences which they call ‘the English’.

In 2012, the network Discovery Channel initiated a reality show which followed the activities of Levi’s group. Entitled “Amish Mafia”, it became a huge hit among audiences, becoming one of Discovery Channels top-rated shows. The show garnered nationwide success, giving the audience a peek into the everyday lives of the very secluded Amish community, and how the Amish Mafia protects them from outside influences and the outsiders themselves – ‘The ‘English’.
