Paul Lo Duca is nowadays best known for being a horse racing analyst for the TVG Network.

He later enrolled at Glendale Community College, where he served as a walk-on player for its baseball team. After two years, in 1993 Paul transferred to Arizona State University where he was named The Sporting News Player of the Year in his rookie season. Despite setting ASU baseball records with 129 hits with an average batting score of .446, the next several years he spent circuiting in the minor leagues. Having been drafted in the 25th round of the 1993 Amateur Draft and was signed by Vero Beach Dodgers. In 1995, Lo Duca was loaned to Australian Baseball League’s Adelaide Giants where he stayed ’til 1996. His professional baseball career officially began in 1998 when he signed with Los Angeles Dodgers, although he didn’t play regularly until 2001; his hitting proved to be his strength, including a 25-hit streak in 2003, the second longest in Dodger’s history. This venture provided the basis for Paul Lo Duca’s net worth.

In 2004, Lo Duca signed with Florida Marlins with which he spent only one season before he was traded to New York Mets in 2006. Later that year, he was selected for the All-Star Team, scoring an average of .318 with a career high of on-base percentage – .355. In 2008, Lo Duca signed a one-year contract, worth $5 million with Washington Nationals for which he played ’til July 2008. Subsequently, he returned to minor league, and then the Florida Marlins.
