During his stint in the station, Pepe Garza co-created and promoted various fictional radio personalities, including Don Cheto, who is also recognized as the man with the loud voice, the character inspired by the personality of a Mexican immigrant and his life in the US. His most popular fictional radio character is El Morro, who gained enormous popularity after his albums of music for children received a Latin Grammy Award nomination in the category of Children’s Producer in 2001. He also co-founded his own music company called Arpa Music, together with his brother Alejandro Garza.
