Priscila was born in Braintree, but spent her childhood in Quincy; Priscila`s parents are refugees, who immigrated from China and Vietnam as refugees.
Regarding her education, she attended the Quincy High School, becoming class valedictorian in her final year, 2003. She then enrolled at Harvard University, where she studied biology.

Priscila then worked as a science teacher in a private school, Harker School, but enrolled at the University of California, San Francisco, from which she acquired a medical degree in pediatrics in 2012.
