Prior to that, he worked as a host of horse racing broadcasts. From 1996 to 1997, he also hosted a studio program – “NBA Tonight” – providing analysis and highlights of the NBA games. Then, he hosted the news programs “RPM 2Day” and “RPM 2Night” (1997 – 1999).

He is also a frequent guest host on ESPN Radio. As a regular host he attended the shows “College Football Live”, “College Game Day” and “College Football Final” which are also aired on ESPN. In 2008, Rece Davis was the winner of the Best Sports Host Award given by Cable Fax. Since 2015, he has also worked as a regular host of “College GameDay”.
