Also in 1995, Taral appeared alongside Sean Connery, Laurence Fishburne and Kate Capshaw in “Just Cause”, while in 1996, she played in Penny Marshall’s Oscar Award-nominated “The Preacher’s Wife” starring Denzel Washington, Whitney Houston, and Courtney B. In 1997, Hicks released her debut studio album en titled “This Time”, but it failed to enter the Billboard chart, despite having successful singles such as “Ooh, Ooh Baby” (feat.
