Vince Gill Net Worth $30 Million

Gill grew up in Norman; his father had a strong effect on his career, as he had also been a recognized member of the country music scene in his day. He encouraged Gill to start with guitar lessons at an early age, so soon he began with guitar and banjo lessons. By the time he entered Northwest Classen High School, situated in Oklahoma City, he was already a member of a bluegrass group called Bluegrass Revenue. While he was still in high school, he expanded his skills further as he became more involved in the music scene, engaging with the music groups Flock and Mountain Smoke. Following graduation he became a member of the band Bone Creek, which also featured Ricky Skaggs.

Gill broke out to the national music scene in 1979, when he joined the country rock band Pure Prairie League, and featured on their album “Can`t Hold Back” as a guitarist and backing vocal, and he was also a lead vocalist on their hit song “Let Me Love You Tonight”. Before going solo, he was also a member of the band “The Cherry Bombs” whose founder was Rodney Crowell.

In 1983, Gill signed a contract with RCA records and in the following year he released his debut album entitled “Turn Me Lose”, which earned him the Top New Male Vocalist award. From his debut album, his fame and net worth gradually grew with every release. During his career, Vince has released over 20 albums, and so far sold more than 25 million copies; some of them include the “The Way Back Home” (1987), “When I Call Your Name” (1989), “Pocket Full Of Gold” (1991), “I Still Believe In You” (1992), “Let`s Make Sure We Kiss Goodbye” (2000) and his latest release “Bakersfield” (2013). Of course all have added to his net worth.

He has won a total of 20 Grammy awards throughout his career, and also numerous Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music awards, including, Song Of The Year in 1993 for a duet with John Barlow Jarvis entitled “I Still Believe In You”, Male Vocalist Of The Year in 1995, and in 2014 he received the Irving Waugh award for Excellence in country music which was handed previously only to the iconic country musician Johnny Cash, and many others that have helped benefit his net worth. The peak of his media popularity is represented by his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, which he earned in 2012.

In addition to his media presence other than his successful career, Gill has been recognized as a humanitarian. He is the organizer of the annual Vince Gill Celebrity Basketball Game and the Vinny Pro-Celebrity Golf Invitational, among other philanthropic activities.

When it comes to his personal life, Gill was married to Janis Oliver from 198o to 1997; they have a daughter. Vince has been married to Amy Grant, a Christian\pop singer, since 2000, with whom he has a daughter.
